Laboratory Technician | EAG Laboratories

EAG Laboratories is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our East Windsor, NJ lab. This position will be responsible for supporting SIMS Scientist activities by preparing samples and equipment for analyses, including but not limited to, mounting, machining, and polishing techniques.Essential Job Functions: Sample preparation - cleaving samples to size, cleaning as needed, and mounting samples for SIMS (Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry) analysisOperate supporting equipment such as profilometers, microscopes, fine tools (tweezers, scribing tools, etc.)Section, mount and clean test pieces in a consistent manner acceptable for analysisUse chemical solutions and processes to prepare / clean sampleReview and adhere to customer specifications and requirements, including visual inspection of received materials for condition and correlation with customer descriptionHandle customer materials and company equipment in a responsible and efficient mannerProtect confidential information and proprietary processesThis position works with companies that deal with defense-related activities and is subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations). All accepted applicants must be U.S. Persons as defined by ITAR:U.S. CitizenU.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. “Green Card Holder”)Political Asylee or RefugeeWork Schedule:Mondays to Fridays: 8:30am-5:30pm
